Rama Taib-Lopez’s no-nonsense approach to each case has earned her a reputation for integrity both with her clients and within the legal community. She understands that effective representation requires that she tell her clients what they need to hear, even if it is not what they want to hear, to empower a client to make the right decisions for themselves and their families. Rama focuses her practice on all facets of family law, including prenuptial agreements, martial settlement agreements, divorce, custody, child support, alimony and division of assets. She has experience consulting with experts in business valuations, property valuations, tax matters, and child psychology.

Rama’s objective is to clearly identify her clients’ goals and strategize how to best achieve them, with a focus on doing so in the most cost-efficient way possible. She takes the time to walk her clients through every step of the process, whether it be through negotiation, mediation or litigation, so that they are prepared with the knowledge they need about their case and the law.

Prior to joining Stein Sperling, Rama practiced family law for a prominent firm in Rockville, Maryland.
