Sara M. Donohue joined Stein Sperling to practice at a firm with a commitment to the community. Sara has practiced family law for over three decades representing clients in high conflict cases involving challenging child custody issues and contested divorce matters. She is also frequently appointed by the court as a Best Interest Attorney to represent children in contested custody cases. Although she works faithfully to negotiate and settle her cases, she is also recognized as an accomplished and skillful trial attorney.

Family law matters are often brimming with uncertainty; Sara sees it as her job to eliminate that uncertainty and provide her clients with clear, realistic, and reasonable options to address their family issues. Sara’s commitment to her clients is immeasurable and her dedication for bettering difficult family situations is much the same.

She has been recognized as a top family lawyer for many years in the Washingtonian Magazine, and most recently in The Top Lawyers Hall of Fame edition of the Washingtonian, Bethesda Magazine, Super Lawyers, and Best Lawyers.
