Drawn to law to effect positive change in people’s lives, Drew Cole is an integral member of Stein Sperling’s commercial, construction, and estates, trusts and probate teams. Both analytical and empathetic, Drew listens carefully to his client’s concerns and goals before crafting a detailed strategy to help them reach those goals, through negotiation or trial. Drew focuses on developing a trusting and interactive relationship with his clients.
In addition to commercial and construction litigation work, Drew focuses on estate and fiduciary litigation, business litigation, as well as real estate disputes. He is especially well versed in the procedures to assert, enforce or defend against a mechanics’ lien, as well as the personal liability risk for general contractors under the Maryland Trust Fund Act, and other actions available to owners and contractors in order for them to collect money owed. He appears regularly in Maryland’s Circuit and District courts as well as in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Stein Sperling almost two decades ago, Drew clerked for a judge in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.
